The Waiting Season

The Waiting Season:-

This year I’m hoping I will be able to write at least 1 post per month… so here goes the 3rd for the year and while It’s not like that’s a good thing in itself, I would admit I have been struggling to put up post here like I would have loved too, with work and every other thing going on in my life, I thought I should check up on you guys briefly and talk about the waiting season.

One major thing on my mind as I write this down, Is to ask if you’ve ever experienced the waiting season and how you’ve dealt with, waiting is never easy, everyday during this process is a constant battle because you’ve to keep the faith and at the same chase away the doubts.

So how does one handle the waiting season?

I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer but one thing is sure to never lose sight of what you’re expecting.

In the next couple of weeks, I’m looking to share some exciting news with you all and the waiting period has been crazy but I’m not giving up because I can’t wait to share my testimony.

One of the things that has helped me is the ability to visualize.

I know where I’m going, I know what I want, so I begin to see it and say it… You will be amazed at the potency of this and how encouraging this is.

Another thing that helps me is my faith. The church where I attend and worship have been doing a morning prayer session for over six months now and I can’t begin to explain how much that has helped me, if you will like to join us or check out the prayers, click here to watch on YouTube.

There were times I was discouraged, times when I asked God when It was going to be my turn but I’m learning everyday to trust God daily.

Personally, I think without my faith I would be a lost cause.

Waiting can be hard…. particularly in this season around the world where we are still learning on how to deal with the virus, live, move, work and school during a lock-down, we are all barely surviving and that’s why I’m grateful for my faith during this waiting season.

The truth is the waiting season will not always be hard or easy, it can also be fun and bright depending on how you react to it and not allow your emotions to get the best of you.

The waiting season can also n be joyful

I genuinely can’t speak for everyone and I hope that whatever it is you’re waiting for, either its for the application to be accepted, or for your immigration or travel papers to come through or perhaps you want life to go back to the way it was so that you can continue living your life to the fullest, whatever it is… I hope you wait until your joy is filled and that you never give up half way.

In the meantime, I would like to know what your coping mechanism are. Kindly share them with me in the comment section.
