2. Scope

Covers basic mobile app functions, including animal tagging, location tracking, movement history, and health records for field use.

3. Prerequisites

  • Smartphone with internet connection
  • Registered user account
  • Valid farm location and herd ID

4. Login and Setup

  1. Download the Traceability Tool app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and enter your registered phone number.
  3. Enter the OTP sent via SMS to log in.
  4. Confirm farm profile details on the dashboard.

5. Registering New Animals

  1. From the dashboard, tap Add Animal.
  2. Enter animal ID, breed, date of birth, and weight.
  3. Scan the RFID tag using the phone’s NFC or Bluetooth reader.
  4. Tap Save to complete registration.

6. Tracking Movements

  1. Tap Movement Log from the menu.
  2. Select the animal(s) being moved.
  3. Choose the movement reason (e.g. grazing, sale, vaccination).
  4. Select the destination and confirm the transport date.
  5. Submit and generate a movement certificate.
